music I couldn't possibly live without..

Pond - The Practice of Joy Before Death

with the first impression of being rock, it's really quite poppy, (kinda like Tyke), and I guess coming from Portland, Oregon, they're kinda like Heatmiser.

Heatmiser - Mic City Sons

I've been listening to both Mic City Sons and Cop and Speeder, but i think I like Mic City Sons better. It's got a bigger range between, rock, pop and ballad.. and more backing vocals to sing along with. Yay for Neil Gust and Elliot Smith.

Polevault - P.V. single

I could listen to this two track cd over and over and not get bored.. yay for kids in Adelaide who can actually write songs and not pretend to know everything. [see some of my Polevault photos here]

Mogwai

song of the month would be Christmas Steps.. but of late I've been listening to the EP + 2 songs from No Education No Future Fuck the Curfew.

Girls Against Boys - Freakonica

when I drive around with this up loud.. sometimes I feel like i'm listening to something bad, like Limp Bizkit (sp?) or something.. but it's good, very rock.
